Jill Hoffman, ND,
is an Arizona-licensed naturopathic doctor. She graduated at the top of her class from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ, one of five accredited four-year, graduate-level naturopathic medical schools in the U.S. To learn more about naturopathic medical schools, go to http://www.aanmc.org/.

Jill began
her naturopathic practice working in an integrative medicine environment, partnering with a gynecologist in Phoenix, AZ, and focusing on digestive issues and women’s medicine. She divided time between her medical practice and teaching at Grand Canyon University, also in Phoenix. As a professor in the College of Health Sciences, Jill taught pathophysiology (study of the abnormal physiology of disease) and clinical nutrition to pre-medical undergraduate students. Through educating and providing tools for change, Jill inspired and guided clients and students alike towards positive transformation in their lives.

Prior to
receiving her doctorate in naturopathy, Jill graduated with honors from Skidmore College. During her undergraduate studies in French, she studied in West Africa and attended university at the Sorbonne in Paris for one year. Following a stint in corporate America, she returned to school to pursue medicine and successfully completed a pre-medical post-baccalaureate program at Mills College in Oakland, CA. Becoming a naturopathic doctor was the clear path since prevention and natural therapeutics fit best Jill’s personal values and sensibilities.

Note: In states where the naturopathic doctor (ND) license is recognized (Alaska, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Montana, New Hampshire, Oregon, Utah, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C.), the profession is regulated and NDs are licensed as primary care providers. Although Jill Hoffman is a licensed primary care physician in Arizona, in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, where the ND license is not recognized, she acts as a holistic health counselor. Naturopathic medicine provides alternatives as well as complements conventional medical treatment and Jill is available to work in tandem with your primary care and specialist physicians to coordinate treatment recommendations.
